Maureen Duff - Producing - Writing - Casting
Short Bio - MA Eng & Phil, University of Glasgow. Maureen has worked in film and TV casting for many years, working for award-winning directors such as Danny Boyle, Richard Attenborough and Julian Jarrold. She has won or been a finalist in three prestigious writing competitions (Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Own, Time Out) for her short stories and journalistic pieces. She had a short story published in a volume entitled Scottish Short Stories (Collins) and has had several of her own illustrations published in magazines and books. She completed the advanced course in Script Reading at the Script Factory in London. She is a member of Bafta, Bectu,The Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain and Ireland, The International Casting Directors Network and The Chelsea Arts Club.
She is currently Associate Producer on several feature films in development; Hollow Point, Heaven Come Dawn, Diabolus - Legion of Blood & 8 Lunatics. This is her first venture into producing and screenwriting. She is based in London.
